Big Brother 14 Coming Soon

Well, Rachel ended up winning Big Brother 13. I know a lot of folks couldn't stand Rachel and her Husband Brendan, or the duo referred to as "Brenchel."

But I guess some people really appreciated the way she played the game, and she ended up winning the big prize. The season turned out not too bad. A lot of viewers were very disappointed that Evel Dick made such a surprise early exit. Oh well. You never know what happens in this game.

In a development that should come as no surprise, CBS has renewed Big Brother. The Big Brother 14 blog is all setup and ready to go, and will bring you all the updates on the 14th season of Big Brother, presumably sometime in the Summer of 2011.

Big Brother 13 Updates So Far

We have some Big Brother 13 Updates brought to you by the Big Brother Blog. In case you missed any of Big Brother 13 so far, here are a few updates:

Big Brother 13 started with a twist, as 8 new house guests were joined by 6 previous contestants. These 6 arrived in the form of 3 popular couples from past editions of Big Brother: Jeff and Jordan, Dick and Danielle, Rachel and Brendon.

Evel Dick's time in the Big Brother 13 House was short-lived, however, as he left right away due to personal reasons. This left his daughter Danielle without her partner, but she was given a "golden key" and will make it into the top 10.

Before Evel Dick had left, the 8 new houseguests paired off into 4 couples, leaving the house consisting of 7 couples.

Rachel won the first HOH, and Keith was evicted, becoming the first cast member of Big Brother 13 to be evicted. After Keith's eviction, there was a mini golf type HOH challenge. Jordan won this competition to become the current HOH.

This is where the CBS version of the show left off. If you want to watch action from the Big Brother house in between CBS episodes, you can subscribe to the Big Brother Live Feeds, which include a 3 day free trial:

Big Brother 13 Early Bird Live Feed Special. Save $10

We just came across news that the Early Bird Special for the Big Brother 13 Live Feeds ends tonight. That means starting tomorrow, if you want to subscribe to the Real pass feeds and see all the 24/7 Big Brother action, you are going to be charged $39.99 for the season instead of $29.99.

We got this news in our blog feed from Big Brother 14 Updates( Wait, there's a Big Brother 14?) via this post from the Big Brother 13 blog.

If you miss out on this special, don't worry. You can always get a 3 day free trial later, and pay $14.99 per month as you go. But if you are interested in having the feed subscription for the full season 13 of big brother, the early bird special is the way to go. I know on the internet, there are a lot of limited time only specials that seem to go on forever, but in all my years of following Big Brother, Real Networks has always offered the early bird discount and never extended it.

Big Brother 13 Blog Updates- House Guest Info and More

We've heard the word that the Big Brother 13 Blog will be reporting on some major updates late tonight or tomorrow. Rumor has it the new house guests will be revealed. We might get to see what this year's hot houseguests look like.

I don't know if we are going to find out any other news on Big Brother 13. Social media sites and Big Brother Twitter are blowing up with speculation on other reveals, such as the setup of the house and if there are going to be any specific themes or twists revealed before the start of the season.

Big Brother, The Amazing Race, and Survivor

Should Big Brother, The Amazing Race, and Survivor all "crossover"? I'm not so sure about that idea, but I did come across a post proposing this idea:

"I think I've come up with the perfect plan that not only gives Survivor a new look, but which can also help all three of the network's major reality competition shows get a boost. CBS needs to have a cross-reality show battle royale.

The network's three big giants are Survivor, The Amazing Race and Big Brother. "

What do you think? Personally I'm looking forward to Big Brother 13. I don't really watch The Amazing Race but I get its appeal. Survivor? I haven't seen an episode since 2001. If anything, Survivor is the stale one of the bunch and any gimmicks would likely be for the benefit of that show.

It's an interesting idea, though.
